Thinking about renting a boat this summer?

You may be wondering how the coronavirus outbreak is affecting your travel plans and holidays including your summer vacation, or other travel arrangements you made for this year.

Is it safe to travel?

While the numbers of infected are rising globally, many people who had the virus have already been cured and most severe cases recorded, mainly concern the elderly with chronic illnesses and other underlying health conditions.
Many people report very mild symptoms, while others could be asymptomatic. However, the situation is quite serious and the virus is spreading really fast.

What is the current situation in Greece?

Greece reacted fast to coronavirus. There are currently 2,909 confirmed cases in the country. Restaurants and cafes reopened, as the number of new cases in the country has been significantly reduced.

Despite the situation, we can assume that boating is one of the safest outdoor recreational activities you can do with your close friends and family members. We believe that a boat rental experience is an excellent alternative to other holiday options. You can keep safe and enjoy the sun and the sea while minimizing the need to frequent public areas where risks naturally increase.

At Explore Athens Yachting, we are committed to the safety and well being of our guests. Your health is our number one priority.
