INFORMATION ON PROCESSING AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We would like to assure you that for Explore Athens Yachting, the protection of our customers’ personal data is of paramount importance. That is why we are taking appropriate steps to protect the personal data we process and to ensure that the processing of personal data is always carried out in accordance with the obligations laid down by the legal framework, both by the company itself and by third parties who process personal data on behalf of the company.
Explore Athens Yachting IKE, informs you that, for the purposes of its business activities, it processes personal data of its customers in accordance with applicable national law and European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (General Regulation Data Protection Law) as in force.

CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND USE

The services provided by Explore Athens Yachting are available online and through the Website. Access and use of the services that are offered through the Website require an internet connection.
In addition to the procedure of online access and service provision, Explore Athens Yachting offers its users a phone booking option. These terms apply to phone bookings as well.
Users of the services offered through the Website must be 18 years old, have the capacity to perform legal acts and, when acting on behalf of third parties, be duly authorized in that respect.
The successful completion of service provision through the Website requires that the user discloses and Explore Athens Yachting collects and processes information referring to the user, which may constitute personal data. Users of the Website and of the services offered through the Website unreservedly authorize Explore Athens Yachting to collect, use and forward to Third Providers the information required for the provision of the services, under the terms and conditions set out below in section “PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA”. Any user that disagrees with the collection, use, processing and/or forwarding of his personal data under these terms must stop and refrain from using the services, otherwise it will be considered that the terms remain unreservedly acceptable to such user.

BOOKING SERVICE – COMPLETION OF TRANSACTION

A booking option is available for the services offered through the Website, i.e. the option to reserve an available service on the express order of a user. The booking order will be binding upon the user who must in all cases pay the relevant price.

COMMUNICATION

Communication, including any notification required under these terms, between Explore Athens Yachting and the Website users, will be duly made primarily using electronic means, and specifically the email address, communicated by the user to Explore Athens Yachting to that end.
Users must state their true particulars to Explore Athens Yachting, including their valid email address.

In case of breach of these terms, Explore Athens Yachting reserves the right to reject a booking on notice to the user.


PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION – CONFIDENTIALITY

Access to the Website for the execution of a contract and receipt of the services displayed will require that users provide Explore Athens Yachting with those details that are necessary for the successful and secure delivery and receipt of the requested products, e.g. name, e-mail address, postal address, Greek mobile phone number, credit card details etc.
By entering the required data for the execution of each transaction, users provide Explore Athens Yachting their explicit consent (opt-in) for the collection, use and processing of their personal data for the above purpose, in accordance with article 6, par. 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679), L. 2472/1997 and the applicable Greek legislation, as in force from time to time.
Explore Athens Yachting takes all proper technical and organizational measures for the security and protection of data and observes all principles of lawful processing of personal data (lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, confidentiality and accountability). We aim to protect the data subject’s rights (information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, right to object and non-automated individual decision-making based on profiling), in accordance with the GDPR, the Greek laws, the decisions of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (DPA), the written instructions and the Security and Data Protection Policy that is published in our website.
Explore Athens Yachting are entitled to use the contact details that the user has disclosed, to send information messages about their services, as well as relevant offers and/or announcements, provided that the user has provided an explicit consent by submission of a relevant declaration in our website, which may at any time withdraw.
For promotional and marketing purposes, your personal data is retained until your consent is withdrawn. This can be done by you at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of consent-based processing in the period before its revocation.
To withdraw your consent, you can use the subscription options by following (by clicking) the corresponding link in our electronic communications or by contacting info@exploreathensyachting.com, such e-mail must be sent by the same e-mail address declared by the user upon registration, stating “I DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE INFORMATION”.
Upon execution of the agreement and the provision of the services requested by the user, the latter’s data automatically pass to the company of Explore Athens Yachting ΙΚΕ, which provides the appropriate infrastructure for the execution and completion of the relevant payment transactions.

Forms of personal data collection

Explore Athens Yachting will always ask for your minimum, as stipulated by law, personal data. Such personal data may include, name, number, validity and expiration date of debit/credit/prepaid card, telephone number, e-mail, postal address for issuance or postage of invoice or receipt or details of your order.

Explore Athens Yachting keeps your personal data only for as long as imposed by the contractual terms of each service, in combination with the applicable financial, banking, tax, telecommunication and other laws, based each time on the respective processing purpose, while afterwards it anonymizes or destroys them.

Pursuant to the, subject to be replaced by a Regulation, Directive 2009/136/EC (E-privacy) of the EU, our website accepts the use of “cookies”. These are online tools for collection and analysis of information which come from social media platforms or cooperating platforms of third parties, used for counting website traffic, for improving the operation, the content and the overall design of our website and its adaptation to our customers’ needs.
